Join us this March as we celebrate Alex’s 40th birthday! He’s been an amazing son, brother, partner, father, and friend, and what better way to honor his journey so far than to gather all his favorite people for a night filled with music, food, and fun. Let’s make this milestone unforgettable as he enters the next exciting decade!
The Venue
Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts

Glenwood Springs, Colorado
I will set up the venue from 3 pm on the day; anyone is welcome to help. The goal is to have everyone arriving by 5:30 pm at the latest and we will plan for the Birthday Boy to arrive around 6 pm or just after for the SURPRISE!
The Band
From the high mountain river-valley of Durango, Colorado comes a five piece band of musicians called Liver Down The River. The group has their roots in countless river floats, campfires, late night picking, and Colorado living. Since LDTR's creation in 2012, their unique sound and high energy performances have lead them to share the stage with the likes of The Infamous Stringdusters, Railroad Earth, Lil' Smokies, The New Mastersounds, John Stickley Trio, and Poor Man’s Whiskey, to name a few.
Food & Drinks
A light dinner will be provided for everyone as well as beer and wine. Please RSVP with any diets or requests. If you live locally and want to contribute, let me know! If you want to bring your favorite party favors this is okay too, the venue does not allow spirits or glass, so plan accordingly!

Your +1s and 2s and kiddos are always welcome, but please do let us know in advance so we bring enough food & drinks for everyone.
I’m beyond excited to celebrate my favorite person with all of you! Here are a few things to keep in mind as we get ready for the big day:
This is a family-friendly event, so feel free to bring the kids! We’ll have activities to keep them entertained.
The band will kick off around 7:30 pm, giving us plenty of time to catch up and enjoy some food after the big surprise.
The event wraps up around 11 pm, but the after-party will continue downtown for those who want to keep the fun going.
The venue was chosen with convenience in mind, near hotels and transportation options. Please, NO drinking and driving!
